My Dublin City Centre based client is currently recruiting for a Solutions Data Architect to join a growing team. This role will be hybrid working. The Solutions Data Architect will have an opportunity to work at the forefront of data architecture and business transformation, shaping solutions that drive meaningful impact.

We are looking for an experienced Solution Data Architect with a strong background in data-driven architecture, product development, and business transformation. This role involves guiding projects from initial strategy to full-scale execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement IT solutions across Data Warehousing, BI, ERP, and CRM, while managing internal teams and vendor relationships.
  • Develop and oversee data management strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Build and document target architectures that integrate real-time event streams and batch data sources for operational data storage and data warehousing.
  • Lead the design and deployment of data strategies, including collection, transformation, integration, visualization, and analytics.
  • Oversee the development of data and analytics solutions, ensuring efficient processes, testing, and documentation.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, identifying opportunities for business growth.
  • Drive initiatives to improve and expand data and BI architecture, contributing to robust data governance practices.
  • Provide mentorship to technology teams, fostering a data-driven culture across the organization.
Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) with at least 6 years in a customer-facing technical role.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Data Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar role in an industry environment.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and SQL, with experience across multiple database platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
  • Strong understanding of data integration techniques, processes, and warehouse architecture.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure) for data storage, processing, and security.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to optimize business processes.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor teams and drive successful project outcomes.
Preferred:
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, or Mathematics (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Relevant certifications in Solution Architecture, Business Automation, or Data Management.
  • Background in programming, application development, and business process analysis.
  • Experience supporting software production environments and managing support teams.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure setup, particularly for automation projects.
  • Familiarity with AI, Generative AI, automation, and data modeling.
  • Certifications in Data Management and Cloud-Based Data Engineering.
