Overview

Kilsaran Precast - Brownstown R56 VE86

Kilsaran Precast is high-performance, bespoke business that offers a full-service solution from building design and manufacture through to installation. The fully automated state-of-the-art plants located in Kildare and Galway are not constrained by static moulds and are completely BIM orientated.

As a Precast Artic HGV Driver, you will liaise with our Precast Transport Department and Transport Manager to ensure Kilsaran Precast Products are delivered to sites in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities
  • Complete delivery of Precast Items to various sites in Ireland at the appointed time.
  • Ensure that all loads are correctly restrained before leaving the Precast Facility.
  • Ensure the delivery is made safely and work with the foreman on site before offloading elements begins; if there are any issues discuss with the Transport Manager.
  • Complete a check of delivery with the foreman and obtain a signature.
  • Perform daily safety checks and maintenance checks.
  • Drive within the Tachograph Law and Driver Hour Limits.
  • Clean trucks as scheduled and/or required. Maintain the cleanliness of the cab.
  • Report any incidents or accidents as soon as possible and in compliance with the company's accident reporting procedure.
  • Provide support in the yard as required by the Transport Manager.
Skills Required
  • Preferably a minimum of 3 years' HGV driving experience. Experience delivering Precast Items is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
  • Clean relevant Driver's Licence.
  • Up-to-date CPC Driver qualification.
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Valid Safe Pass.
