About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a

Co. Cork.

The ideal candidate would be a qualified electrician with 5-10 years proven experience in the industrial sector. Water & wastewater sector experience advantageous and commissioning experience essential.

About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrician with Commissioning abilities. This role will be based in Co. Cork.

The ideal candidate would be a qualified electrician with 5-10 years proven experience in the industrial sector. Water & wastewater sector experience advantageous and commissioning experience essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical control system installation
  • Electrical control systems commissioning & testing
  • Electrical design and supervision work on Water and Wastewater pumping and treatment installations with instrumentation and controls
  • Understanding of PLC based automation & SCADA Systems
  • Electrical systems fault finding and rectification
  • Supervision and snagging of sub-contractors' work

Key Competencies and Skills:
  • A minimum of 5 years, post apprenticeship work within Water or Wastewater treatment industry or contracting, pumps, instrumentation, automation and SCADA is a requirement
  • Good electrical control systems knowledge & electrical fault finding in general
  • Working with pumps, motors, chemical dosing equipment (incl pumps & controllers), control panels
  • Working knowledge of PLC's and general automation

Qualifications:
  • RECI [or equivalent] certified Electrician with 5 years post apprenticeship work experience
  • Full EU/Irish driving licence
