Key Responsibilities:- Help in the design of food menu.
- Produce high quality plates, including both design and taste.
- Oversee and supervise kitchen staff.
- Assist with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies.
- Ensure that food is top quality, and that kitchen is in good condition.
- Recent previous experience as Sous Chef in a busy, but organised 4* star hotel/restaurant kitchen.
- Extensive knowledge of good food handling, food standards and presentation.
- Proven success at leading a team to achieve high standards.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, communication and motivational skills.
- Ability to motivate team.
- Sound knowledge and passion for food.
- Thorough knowledge of HACCP.
- Thorough knowledge of kitchen management.
- Honest, reliable and hardworking.
- Demonstrate knowledge of cost structures and budget.
