Daycentre Manager

Day Centre Manager - Garryowen (Maternity Leave Cover) – The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, Garryowen Daycentre Services, Kilmurry Ct, Killalee, Garryowen, Co. Limerick, V94 DR60. Reports to the Operations Manager. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, 37.5 hours per week, to cover maternity leave.

• Lead the Garryowen Day Centre services, ensuring high-quality care and support for people living with dementia.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including staff supervision and development.
• Oversee HR, financial management, quality standards and risk management within the service.
• Communicate effectively with team, clients, carers and the National Office shared services as required.

• Experience in caring for people with dementia.
• Experience in Human Resource Management, Financial management, Quality standards and risk management.
• Good communication skills, open and enthusiastic, positive attitude, able to lead by example and work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Nursing Degree and registration with NMBI is desirable.
• Salary will be commensurate with the care sector, dependent on relevant experience.
