Cpl Healthcare in partnership with our client is recruiting an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist in Occupational Health for a position in the south of Dublin with excellent links to the M50. This position is 18.75 hours per week.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Clinical focus (Direct & Indirect Care)
  2. Wellbeing Advocacy
  3. Education and training
  4. Audit and research
  5. Provide the delivery of a programme of effective OH care for all hospital employees.
  6. Coordinate and lead on OH programme.
  7. Manage, record and report on vaccination programmes for employees, including planning and co-ordinating immunisations programmes for employees.
  8. Carry out health assessments of employees to ascertain their fitness, advice on adaptations and to identify higher risk individuals and those who will be working with occupational hazards.
  9. Provide immunization programmes innovative and identify new areas of health assessment.
  10. Provide ongoing health assessment services to employees, including screening and follow up.
  11. Manage nurse led OH clinics and referrals to OH medical services as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Full NMBI registration.
  2. Have successfully completed a post registration programme of study in Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) major academic Level 8 award, or higher relevant to the specialist area of IPC prior to application.
  3. OR / Can provide written evidence from higher education institute that they have achieved the number of ECTS credits equivalent to a Level 8 award or higher standard, relevant to the specialist area of IPC.
  4. Have a minimum of 5 years post registration full time experience.
  5. Have a minimum of 1 year's full-time experience (or an aggregate of 1 year's full time experience) in specialist area of Occupational Health.

Clinical Nurse Specialist full time gross salary scale €59,070 - €69,834 as of 01st June 2024. Hours: 18.75 hours per week, exclusive of unpaid rest breaks and hybrid working arrangements are available.
