Role Responsibilities
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment for the care, safety, and welfare of children
  • Provide for the holistic needs of children
  • Actively engage children in developmentally appropriate learning activities to facilitate their potential development
  • Maintain an organized, clean, safe, well-equipped, and culturally sensitive learning environment
  • Observe and record children's progress
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff
  • Follow established policies and procedures, creating an environment of best practice
Required Qualifications
  • A genuine love of children
  • Minimum FETAC / QQI Level 5 in Childcare or equivalent
  • At least 1 year's practical experience in a childcare setting
  • First Aid, Manual Handling, and Food Safety training are advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A desire to learn and develop throughout your career
Applicants must provide written references, undergo Garda Vetting (Police Clearance required if the applicant has lived outside Ireland for more than 6 consecutive months since turning 18), and prove eligibility to work in the EU.
