Civils Project Manager – Leading Civil Engineering Contractor (Wicklow)

A well-regarded and established civil engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Civils Project Manager to oversee a major civils project in Wicklow. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the project, ensuring it is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This position offers long-term, stable employment with a respected company, known for delivering high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all on-site activities, ensuring work is carried out to the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Lead and supervise project teams, including subcontractors and direct staff.
  • Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
  • Liaise with clients, engineers, and senior project managers to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Hold regular site meetings and provide detailed updates on project progress.
  • Manage project documentation and report on project status.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager, ideally in civil engineering or construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices, construction management, and health & safety regulations.
  • Proven experience managing multiple teams and subcontractors efficiently.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A full, clean driver's license.
Salary & Benefits:
  • Competitive salary between €75,000 and €85,000 per annum.
  • Long-term, stable position based in Wicklow.
  • Benefits package includes:
    • Company vehicle or travel allowance
    • Pension scheme.
