Job Title: Assistant Financial Accountant
Location: Grange, County Sligo
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Grange, County Sligo. The successful candidate will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and work closely with management to control and improve the financial results of the group.
Responsibilities- Reconcile revenue to trial balance
- Post and reconcile numerous bank accounts across various currencies
- Manage deposits and perform reconciliations
- Reconcile and process VAT returns
- Produce timely aged debtors listings and statements
- Actively manage debtors for payments and resolve queries
- Process weekly payroll and prepare monthly returns
- Prepare monthly management accounts for various entities, including analysis and commentary
- Assist in preparing annual audits
- Process sales and purchasing invoices
- A qualified or part-qualified accountant ( finalist) with relevant experience
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in an industry environment
- The ability to use initiative, prioritize tasks, and adhere to deadlines
- A positive and flexible attitude with a proactive approach to work
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office
