Job Description:

We are recruiting for an Accommodation Supervisor (Maternity Cover) to assist the team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, in line with Forbes Five Star standards and The Red Carnation Hotels standards, in all rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Accommodation Manager to ensure high standards of Housekeeping Service in accordance with Forbes Five Star and Red Carnation Hotels standards.
  • Familiarity with daily business regarding room occupancy, VIP needs, and special requirements, ensuring staff are informed.
  • Monitoring staff duties and ensuring adequate staffing levels in the absence of the Executive Accommodation Manager.
  • Training staff to SOP standards and monitoring their performance, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Supporting the team in cleaning rooms to standard when required.
  • Providing excellent guest care, anticipating needs, and exceeding expectations where possible.

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience in a similar role at a 4 or 5-star hotel.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle busy situations.
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, and available to work 5 days over 7, including weekends and holidays.
  • Legally eligible to work in Ireland.
