On the back of continued growth, they require an experienced Senior Engineer to join the team in Longford.
About Your New Job
As a Senior Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of construction projects from the ground up. You'll be responsible for overseeing on-site engineering activities, ensuring work is carried out in line with technical specifications, timelines, and safety standards. Collaborating closely with project managers, contractors, and design teams, you'll provide technical guidance, resolve site issues, and support the coordination of day-to-day operations.
This role demands strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach to managing site teams and subcontractors. Your ability to interpret drawings, monitor progress, and maintain quality control will be critical in ensuring the project's success.
What You'll need
Site Engineers applying to this role must have possess the following:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a similar related field construction degree.
- Proven experience in a site engineering role, ideally on large-scale construction projects with a reputable builder or developer.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, technical drawings, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience looking after Junior Engineers and supervising Setting Out work.
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in site management tools and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on attitude.

Successful applicants will receive a starting salary of up to €80,000 + a company vehicle/allowance.
