eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for an experienced Business Analyst in the area of Cybersecurity. This is a day rate contractor position located with our client in Dublin. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week required onsite. This is an initial 6 month engagement with possible extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with key stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct analysis of PEN test results and Red Team findings, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending appropriate remediation actions in line with SMEs.
  • Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and compliance teams to implement security enhancements and ensure ongoing protection of data assets.
  • Support the development and implementation of an effective Data Security Platform, ensuring it meets organisational and regulatory requirements.
  • Track and monitor remediation progress, providing regular updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop clear and concise reports, presentations, and documentation to support decision-making and compliance reporting.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive security improvements.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging security threats.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analysis, IT, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably in a security-focused environment.
  • Ideally a strong knowledge of security frameworks, and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
  • Experience working in a semi-state, government, or highly regulated environment is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools, data security technologies, and reporting frameworks.

Desirable Skills & Certifications:

  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
  • Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
  • Experience with risk assessment methodologies and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum.

Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland or currently hold a Stamp 1G/4 Visa to apply.
