This is an unparalleled opportunity to influence our market-leading WordPress managed hosting product, making it effortless for our 185,000+ customers to manage their sites, automate backups, streamline updates, and ensure data integrity.

Your Expertise and Passion

  • Impact at Scale: Imagine the challenge and reward of managing a platform that supports an immense user base and handles massive traffic. This role offers unique opportunities to push your expertise to new heights.
  • Customer-Centric Innovation: You'll be instrumental in challenging assumptions about how customers use our platform, defining new ways to meet their business needs, and driving the evolution of our comprehensive managed WordPress platform.
  • Strategic Leadership: You'll be a product leader, providing clarity to your team and stakeholders by meticulously crafting a well-organized roadmap and backlog. Your strategic vision will directly contribute to improving the reliability, scalability, and performance of our offerings.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work hand-in-hand with talented engineering leaders, other Product Managers, Program Management, and Customer Experience (CX) teams in a fast-paced, agile environment to deliver high-value features.

The day to day
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers to understand our platform's product strategy and your team's critical role within it.
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end customer experience for the services and domains your team manages.
  • Articulate complex technical information related to infrastructure to a diverse range of non-technical stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
  • Regularly refine and prioritise your product roadmap, driven by deep customer insights, robust data analysis, and key stakeholder input. You'll skillfully lead negotiation and trade-off discussions to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Define high-quality epics and user stories with thoughtful acceptance criteria, consistently delivering tangible customer value and developing self-service capabilities that reduce the workload for our Customer Experience (CX) organisation.
  • Work closely with engineering leaders to seamlessly integrate technical direction and strategy into both the product roadmap and backlog.
  • Partner directly with your engineering team to design, schedule, and deliver innovative solutions within a Scrum and Agile framework.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers, Program Management, and Customer Experience (CX) to establish clear expectations and identify in-scope teams, dependencies, and technical requirements for project work.
  • Track and measure the results and impact of your domains by defining clear and actionable product success metrics.
  • Exhibit an exceptional ability to build trust and rapport with both internal and external partners, fostering strong, productive relationships.

Required Experience
  • Experience that Counts: 7+ years of progressive product management experience in a technical environment, preferably with a strong background in web hosting.
  • Foundation in Technology: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technology-centric field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Analytics, Mathematics, or Business.
  • Certified Expertise: Product Manager and/or Product Owner certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Marketing certified Product Manager).
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with DevOps, Production Engineering, and SRE best practices.
  • Customer-Obsessed: A proven focus on deeply understanding market and customer problems (the "why") before diving into possible solutions (the "what").
  • Agile Master: Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with software implementation life-cycles (Scrum, Agile, Iterative and Incremental, etc.).
  • Exceptional Communicator: Outstanding communication skills, enabling you to effectively convey software product features, technical designs, and product strategy to both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Detail-Oriented Leader: High attention to detail and a proven track record of successfully leading multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A history of strong partnership and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to drive initiatives across the finish line.
