Are you a detail-driven payroll professional looking to make your mark in a global, collaborative finance team? Barden are delighted to be partnering with a leading multinational organisation in Cork to help identify a Payroll Specialist to join their high-performing EMEA payroll team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multinational environment and wants to work in a team that values accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement all while supporting employees across multiple European countries.

This is a growth role, initially a contract role but with a strong view to be kept on. This company and team have a people-first culture: The team genuinely supports one another and values collaboration, learning and autonomy

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the European Payroll Manager, you'll play a key role in the timely and accurate delivery of payroll across a number of countries. You'll be part of a team that blends shared services with local expertise, and you'll work closely with internal stakeholders in HR and Finance, as well as external payroll partners.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and processing monthly payroll across multiple EMEA countries (using ADP Streamline)
  • Coordinating payroll data collection, validation and review with internal and external partners
  • Supporting statutory submissions, tax compliance and benefit-in-kind tracking
  • Handling queries from employees and internal teams in a timely, professional manner
  • Assisting in SOX and internal audit compliance, particularly during month-end close

ABOUT THE PERSON:

You'll be the kind of person who enjoys structure and process but also sees the people behind the numbers. You understand the importance of confidentiality and are naturally detail-focused – nothing gets past you.

Here's what will help you succeed:

  • 2–3 years' experience in payroll within a multinational or Shared Services environment
  • Experience with ADP, SAP, and Time & Attendance systems
  • English fluency is essential; French or Italian would be a real bonus
  • Ability to meet deadlines, solve problems proactively, and work as part of a cross-functional team
