Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Corporate Actuarial Senior Analyst to join a leading insurance firm. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Actuarial, the Senior Analyst will conduct actuarial valuations and contribute to various projects. This role is based in Dublin with a hybrid working policy. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in non-life insurance.

About the Corporate Actuarial Senior Analyst role

The Senior Analyst, reporting to the Head of Corporate Actuarial, is responsible for actuarial valuations and project contributions. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality, timely actuarial oversight in compliance with governance standards. It involves leading initiatives within the global Corporate Actuarial function, collaborating with business units and stakeholders like IT, and improving procedures and models.

Duties include:

  • Managing actuarial valuation in compliance with standards and enhancing the professional framework.
  • Contributing to global projects and company initiatives through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Staying updated with standards and implementing initiatives within the actuarial function.

Actuarial Skills

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of post-graduate experience, preferably in non-life insurance, with relevant actuarial experience considered. Requirements include:

  • At least 4 years in an insurance role with progression towards actuarial qualification.
  • Ability to manage complex projects.
  • Strong leadership skills in complex environments.
