Overview

Veterinary Surgeon – Full-Time, Permanent at The Pet Hospital, Waterford. Salary: Up to €60,000 DOE. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join our progressive and supportive team. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for a confident clinician who thrives in a collaborative, forward-thinking practice.

We are a 100% small animal, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital with high quality equipment. The Pet Hospital team consists of 2 Veterinary Surgeons and 2 Veterinary Nurses. You will have sole charge responsibilities and clinical autonomy, a varied caseload including consultations, diagnostics, and general soft tissue surgery (routine and emergency).

Responsibilities
  • First opinion consultations and ongoing case management
  • Routine and emergency soft tissue surgery
  • Diagnostic workups using in-house facilities
  • Client communication and care

What We Need From You
  • VCI Registered Veterinary Surgeon
  • Competence in all routine surgeries and diagnostics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for delivering gold-standard veterinary care
  • Experience working in a sole charge environment
