We are looking for a talented Engine Field Service Technician - Level II to join our team in Dublin, Co. Dublin, Ireland. This is a permanent contract, working Monday - Thursday 8:30am – 5pm and Friday 8:30am – 2:30pm.

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure Equipment Reliability: Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance to keep products running smoothly.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct activities as per schedules to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Problem Resolution: Escalate unresolved issues to specialists or supervisors for prompt action.
  • Accurate Documentation: Complete documentation for warranty, quality control, and service records.
  • Continuous Improvement: Complete training to stay updated with latest techniques and technologies.
  • Tool and Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of tools and service vehicle.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Follow policies and report issues to maintain a safe environment.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Highlight upsell opportunities and communicate clearly to enhance trust.

Responsibilities

To succeed, you should:

  • Maintain your personal toolkit to meet standards and care for company tools.
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Be flexible with locations and schedules, including a 24/7 call-out rota.
  • Possess City & Guilds or equivalent in HGV, Plant & Machinery, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred but not essential).

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Apprentice Trained Engine Technician with a vocational diploma (preferred).
  • Mechanical/electrical experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • HGV/Bus license (preferred but not essential).
