About the role

As part of the Valaston audit team, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting high-quality audit engagements from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in audit preparation through research, documentation, and meeting coordination
  • Apply audit standards, policies and regulations to provide timely audit assurance outputs
  • Preparing and maintaining audit workpapers to support audit reports
  • Conducting process walkthroughs, documenting narratives, and testing key controls
  • Participating in client calls and gaining direct client exposure
  • Following audit procedures in line with professional and regulatory standards

About you

  • A higher education or university degree (or are currently studying) in accountancy
  • 0 – 3 years relevant work experience (preferably within accountancy)
  • An appetite for learning about judgement, risk, policy and business practices
  • A keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective and demonstrable team working skills
