Overview

Senior Greenfield Enterprise Account Executive, South Africa Enterprise Sales at Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will drive technology innovation across South Africa's most dynamic businesses, helping enterprise organizations reimagine their potential through transformative cloud technologies. You will build relationships with large enterprise companies in South Africa and help them achieve business goals through cloud and digital capabilities. You will engage with C-level executives, IT leaders, and lines of business to unlock value from digital transformation and establish AWS as a leading cloud technology provider in the African market.


Responsibilities
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with enterprise-level customers across diverse industries
  • Develop comprehensive cloud adoption strategies that align with customers' unique business objectives
  • Identify and pursue transformational technology opportunities within large enterprise organizations
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations to C-level executives and technical decision-makers
  • Collaborate across internal teams to design and implement holistic cloud solutions

Basic Qualifications
  • Extensive experience as a quota carrying technology field sales professional working with large Enterprises
  • Proven track record acquiring new (greenfield) customers
  • Proven track record selling transformational projects and solutions and experience increasing technology adoption and creating long term transformational account strategies
  • Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and other lines of business
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects with Enterprise Customers

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling cloud solutions
  • Background in IT Solutions or Services
  • Experience working with Enterprise Customers in Financial Services, Manufacturing or Mining preferred
  • Success in owning and developing new business development initiatives
