Cheeverstown Respite Services wish to expand & develop their suite of service to support people to meet socially for evenings & weekends.

Support to engage in chosen activities & offer opportunities to meet friends & people with similar interests.

Cheeverstown are now inviting applicants who share in our mission and values to join our Alternative Respite Team.

Position Details

Part-Time - 12 hours per week, every Friday evening & every Saturday
Permanent Contracts, to support people to have a variety of activities based on individual preference within the community.
With a focus on achieving person centred goals.
Individual and Group Activities.
Social Skills Development.
Community Integration Utilising Local Amenities for example: Bowling Alleys, Cinemas, Museums, Hillwalking, Swimming.

Essential Criteria:
  1. Self-motivated & driven people with a passion for community inclusion.
  2. Experience working with adults with an intellectual disability.
  3. Excellent Communication skills.
  4. Full Driving License Is Preferred But Not Essential.
  5. Minimum qualification is a FETAC/QQI Level 5 Major Award in Social Care/Healthcare or relevant qualification to match your grade.
