Overview

Join us as a Senior Corporate Operations Analyst at Barclays. You will be part of the First Line of Defence, performing back-office day-to-day processing services supporting the Corporate Banking client base in Europe. The team has Service management oversight responsibilities for centralised processes.

Location: Dublin.

Responsibilities
  • Support various business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations in operational processes.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Develop reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identify industry trends to implement best practice in banking operations.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications / Skills
  • Ability to analyse operational processes and complete tasks accurately and promptly.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with a particular focus on Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of operational risk, control environments and ability to identify enhancements to processes.

  • Relationship-building skills with the ability to build trust and confidence within Operations Team and wider bank colleagues.
