Packing Operator

Based in Ballymote, Co Sligo. Total Packaging Solutions Ltd is a leading manufacturer of packaging products for the food, pharma and sports nutrition industry. Due to continuous growth, we now have positions available for full-time production operators.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for quality and conformity before packaging.
• Weigh, label, and pack products according to instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Meet daily production targets and packing deadlines.
• Maintain accurate production and packing records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.

Working Conditions

• May involve exposure to noise, dust, or temperature changes.
• Standing and repetitive tasks for long periods.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Working hours

Day shift 8am to 4pm; Evenings 4pm to 12 midnight; Nights 12 midnight to 8am. Working days may vary and will include some weekend work.
