Data Centre Project Engineer

Location: Dublin, Ireland

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the end-to-end delivery of data centre infrastructure projects across the EMEA region, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and quality standards.
  2. Manage all aspects of program management, including planning, milestone setting, deliverable tracking, data collection, risk assessment, and reporting.
  3. Drive seamless program execution and delivery through continuous monitoring and effective implementation strategies.
  4. Act as the main point of communication for program plans, risks, and issues, providing timely updates to stakeholders at all levels.
  5. Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to proactively identify challenges, mitigate risks, and resolve project roadblocks.
Qualifications:
  1. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, power supply solutions, and other critical infrastructure, with a focus on compliance and delivery standards.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in project engineering or management, including participation in at least two successful data centre delivery projects or equivalent infrastructure projects.

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):

  • Specialized Knowledge:
  • Deep expertise in data centre power systems, HVAC principles, and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory compliance.

Technical Tools: Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design and simulation software.

Certifications: Relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Electrical Engineer or HVAC Engineer.

Supplier Management: Strong skills in managing vendors, contractors, and suppliers, with exceptional negotiation capabilities.
