At our newest Electronic Health Record Centre of Excellence in Letterkenny, Ireland, we're assembling a dynamic team committed to revolutionizing the industry. As a Data Integration Analyst - EHR Systems (Electronic Health Records), you will serve as a liaison between end-users and provide advisory support to build and maintain health data integration components, collaborating with other information management resources within the growing EHR team. We're particularly interested in individuals with experience of interface engines, integrations, interoperability, and health data. EHR System and Middleware Engine training will be provided as per project needs. Most importantly, our team will foster a culture of diversity and inclusion and drive innovation for our company and our clients.

Please note: There would be an initial training program on joining where there may be an expectation to work adjusted hours, depending on trainer location/availability. Following this, hours would be standard local hours with a need for some flexibility when working with US clients.

Primary responsibilities of the Data Integration Analyst - EHR Systems:

1. Act as a vital link between end-users and our technology solutions, focusing on HL7 standards and health system integrations.
2. Design, develop, and maintain integration components within EHR system, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
3. Collaborate with our diverse team to translate complex business requirements into practical healthcare IT solutions.
4. Assist with building interfaces and data conversion for EHR implementation along with post go-live support following deployment of new interface or a new EHR implementation.
5. Reviews, builds, tests, and implements new functionality via System Upgrades and Special Updates.
6. Responsible for development and documentation of internal procedures to use in conjunction with EHR applications.
7. Offer technical guidance on significant projects and mentor junior team members in building interface and system integrations.
8. Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation to provide support and resolve issues as per project needs.

Required qualifications:

1. Degree Qualified in relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or STEM subject) or equivalent experience
2. Understanding of software testing approaches and prior experience performing unit testing, integration testing, etc.
3. Experience with SQL, MSSQL, Oracle data management programming skills
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & SharePoint)
5. Proficient in programming and scripting, hands on C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, VBScript or ASP.Net or any other programming language

Preferred qualifications:

1. Experience with HL7 (Health Level Seven Standard) or any other Health Data exchange including HL7 FHIR, HL7 CDA, Web Services and HL7 v2
2. Experience working with developing interfaces on integration / interoperability engines (at least one) such as InterSystems, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, Mirth Connect, Microsoft BizTalk, Corepoint, Qvera, IBM Integration Bus, WebSphere Message Broker or other similar
3. Experience mentoring and providing subject matter expertise to junior engineers
4. Familiarity with EHR system
