Exciting opportunities await experienced Senior Java Developers (Full Stack and Backend) in the High Tech industry Join a fantastic organisation engaged in new and innovative projects. Our client is rapidly growing and offering contract and permanent roles in Galway.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with experience in both client and server-side development within an agile environment, with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and middle-tier technologies.

In this position, you will be developing applications in accordance with industry best practises. Collaborate closely with an Architect, Product Owner, and fellow Developers to contribute to our client's mission.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

Extensive experience working with Java and Spring (Boot, MVC, etc). This client is working with Java versions 17 plus.
REST API Test Automation experience in Java.
Experience working with a distributed team.
Experience deploying applications to AWS.
For some roles extensive experience working with UI technologies (React, Angular etc) - you can also acquire these skills
Extensive experience working with AWS or Azure services and capabilities.
Extensive experience working with mid-tier technologies (APIs, Streaming etc)
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle on-call responsibilities
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding ability to address and resolve complex challenges
Please note that candidates must be based within commutable distance to Galway due to the hybrid working policy and possess the legal right to work.
