Health and Safety Manager (M&E Background)

Location: Ireland (with travel across Ireland & occasional travel to Europe)
Experience: 8+ years in the M&E industry

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager with a strong background in the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) industry to oversee and implement health and safety policies across multiple sites in Ireland and Europe. This role requires a proactive professional who can ensure compliance, conduct site audits, and promote a strong safety culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies in line with Irish and EU regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and site inspections across various locations.
  • Provide health and safety training to staff and contractors.
  • Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and legislative changes.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of health and safety experience in the M&E industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish and EU health and safety regulations.
  • Willingness to travel across Ireland and occasionally to Europe.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Relevant H&S qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
