Job Description:

Securitas Technology Ireland is currently recruiting for a Smart Hands Technician based in Cork.

Specific Knowledge:

  • Understanding of Electronic Security Equipment
  • Basic IT Computer Skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop core skills in Electronic Security Equipment
  • Highly professional in manner and attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to keep up with industry trends and new developments
  • Full clean driving license essential

Professional Experience:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral (report writing)
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Technical knowledge base
  • Proficient use of Smartphone & Apps
  • Team player

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain intruder alarm, access control, and video surveillance systems to required standards across customer sites
  • Drive excellent customer service by working with the Service Manager and Service Desk Co-ordinators, utilizing Smartphone Apps for maintenance tasks
  • Manage van stock, safety equipment, and training; be flexible to work out of hours; maintain a professional appearance
  • Perform planned maintenance work
  • Assist lead engineers on second-person jobs
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Quality standards
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned
