Claims Assessor - Group Risk Products
Permanent | Full-Time | Office-Based (Navan) | €40,000 - €45,000 DOE
Join a leading provider of specialist life insurance and employee benefit solutions, supporting a diverse multinational client base. We're looking for an experienced Claims Assessor to manage complex Group Risk claims across life assurance, critical illness, and income protection products.
In this permanent role, you'll play a key part in delivering expert case management, mentoring junior colleagues, and strengthening relationships with clients, brokers, re-insurers, and internal teams.

Permanent | Full-Time | Office-Based (Navan) | €40,000 - €45,000 DOE
Join a leading provider of specialist life insurance and employee benefit solutions, supporting a diverse multinational client base. We're looking for an experienced Claims Assessor to manage complex Group Risk claims across life assurance, critical illness, and income protection products.
In this permanent role, you'll play a key part in delivering expert case management, mentoring junior colleagues, and strengthening relationships with clients, brokers, re-insurers, and internal teams.
Assess and manage life, critical illness, and income protection claims in line with internal and external guidelines
Liaise with clients, brokers, re-insurers, and medical professionals to ensure fair and timely outcomes
Support and guide junior Claims Assessors and Administrators
Handle complex cases including appeals, complaints, and legal queries
Drive continuous improvements in claims management practices and service delivery
Experience handling life, critical illness, or income protection claims (essential)
Background in the insurance industry, ideally with 3+ years in a claims assessment role
Strong communication, analytic, and case management skills
QFA/APA qualification desirable (or working toward)
Knowledge of Group Risk products is an advantage
Salary: €40,000 - €45,000 DOE
Health-care: Private cover for you, your spouse, and dependant's under 18 (after 6 month's probation)
Pension: 6% employer contribution from day one
Bonus: Discretionary, based on performance
Leave: 23 days annual leave
