Job Opportunity: Stockroom Assistant

Avoca is currently recruiting for a full-time Stockroom Assistant at our Avoca Kildare Village store.

Role Description

This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start, reporting to the General Manager at Kildare Village. The pay rate depends on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Stock control using the EPOS system
  • Conducting stock counts
  • Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager
  • Managing goods inwards and outwards
  • Maintaining a clean and organized stockroom
  • Stock rotation and date checks
Requirements
  • Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in physically demanding roles
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills
  • Warehouse experience is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • Experience in cycle counting and full stock takes
  • Manual handling knowledge or experience is desirable
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and high service standards
  • Experience with goods inwards and outwards
