CTS Mercedes-Benz has continued to evolve, adding significant franchises like Mercedes-Benz after-sales service in 2009, and further expanding its portfolio to include Mercedes-Benz Truck agency in 2016, Daimler Bus in 2018, and Fuso in 2022. Today, the company operates a showroom in Blarney Business Park and an aftersales centre in Kilbarry Enterprise Centre, Dublin Hill.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Cork for a Mercedes-Benz HGV Technician. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for regular maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs). Daily tasks include conducting vehicle inspections, identifying mechanical issues, and performing necessary repairs to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition. You will use specialized diagnostic equipment and tools to provide a high level of service and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Additionally, you will keep detailed records of maintenance activities and interact with customers to explain repairs and offer technical support.

Qualifications

  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing HGVs and other commercial vehicles
  • Franchise dealer experience, preferably with Mercedes-Benz
  • Skilled in vehicle inspections and identifying mechanical issues
  • Proficiency in using specialized diagnostic equipment and tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain detailed records
  • Good communication skills for interacting with customers and explaining repairs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop environment
  • Qualified in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent certification
  • Be resident in or authorised to work in Ireland
  • Have a fill qualified driver's licence
