Job DescriptionResponsible for architecting solutions that will achieve customer business outcomes within a specific technical domain, or across the broader company portfolio (hardware, software, services, and as a service offerings) in combination with necessary third-party components. Develops and articulates compelling, accurate, and relevant proposals and ensures customer requirements are met. Provides technical expertise to sales teams and customers through presentations, product/solution demonstrations, and related activities to gain customer mindshare. May be aligned to specific accounts based on business priority.
Responsibilities- Applies advanced knowledge of the company's portfolio, articulating proposals, and ensuring customer business and technical needs are met.
- Identifies key risks and documents value points for the account team.
- Translates functional designs into scalable technical designs and architectures.
- Communicates how the solution value proposition addresses customer needs.
- Tracks industry trends and emerging technologies and leverages this knowledge within the customer environment.
- Demonstrates and explains how to migrate or integrate technologies in new or existing environments.
- Contributes to industry developments through content support, presentations, demos, and conference participation.
- Designs and delivers solutions aligned to customer requirements, leveraging industry knowledge and the customer's environment.
- Participates in deep-dive discussions to articulate value, differentiators, and high-level designs.
- Collaborates with account leadership to develop value propositions, negotiation points, and opportunities within assigned accounts; leads the creation of complex solutions.
- Maps the right partner to opportunities and shares knowledge with external partners to deliver results.
- Identifies opportunities to expand the pipeline (enhancements, unmet needs, upsell, cross-sell) and actively nurtures deals from opportunity to close.
- Participates in sales forecast meetings and provides feedback to accelerate the sales lifecycle.
- Documents ongoing work and shares best practices with peers and partners.
- Develops professional relationships with customer technical teams and executives to understand ecosystem needs and how HPE can deliver value.
- Shares knowledge with peers and mentors junior team members.
- First-level university technical degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
- 4–8 years of technical IT experience with focus on technical consulting and solution selling.
- Knowledge-based and experience-based certifications are strongly preferred.
- Experience configuring solutions and creating demos/POCs to meet customer requirements.
- Strong understanding of HPE offerings and how they combine with software and services to address customer needs.
- Solid knowledge of the as-a-service (aaS) model, business value, and outcomes within the domain.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and relevant local languages; able to present to customers and stakeholders.
- Strong discussion and persuasion skills and ability to challenge proposed solutions respectfully.
- Business and financial acumen related to sales cycles, pipeline, and ROI concepts; ability to influence and align with business goals.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and standard tools; ability to access and engage SMEs as needed.
- Hands-on experience with relevant products, solutions, tools, or services; ability to design and deliver demonstrations or walk-throughs.
- Strong project and time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of partner offerings and effective collaboration with them; understanding of go-to-market strategy with partners.
- Strategic and account planning skills with proficiency in using business and technical tools.
