Are you a Supply Chain Planner looking for a new opportunity? Join their team on-site in Limerick. The successful candidate will be responsible for supply chain planning, understanding demand volatility, and supply chain lead times. The ideal candidate will also have proven experience in data formulation within Excel.

CONSULTANT RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Responsible for setting the correct levels of inventory within the supply plan by understanding demand volatility and supply chain lead times. This includes creating a safety stock strategy and plan that enables product availability at optimal cash investment levels.
  2. Responsible for creating a Master Resource Plan based on the latest demand signal to cover production or purchase needs as a finished product, ensuring sufficient raw materials and components for up to a 24-month horizon.
  3. Responsible for developing capacity plans based on the latest demand signal to identify potential bottlenecks or risks, and to develop mitigation proposals to ensure supply chain continuity. Also, identify underutilization that could impact costs.
  4. Capable of developing a supply plan across a product portfolio.
  5. Ability to work on capability building as part of cross-functional teams, contributing expertise to create optimal solutions.
  6. Ensure the supply plan is financially evaluated, balancing product availability with supply costs and investments, in collaboration with financial partners to meet budgets and targets.
  7. Track the execution of the supply plan, coordinating production scheduling and purchasing to ensure operational performance, mitigate deviations, and proactively communicate future supply risks.
  8. Ensure correct phasing and planning of products, and communicate timing for product exit strategies within the plant or third-party suppliers. Maintain communication with the business regarding the product portfolio status from a supply planning perspective.
  9. Communicate effectively between supply planning and demand planning to confirm capability to meet requirements through daily, weekly, and monthly review processes.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

  • Extremely proficient in Excel, including building tools and formulas for large data sets.
  • Experience in creating Master Resource Plans.
  • Capacity planning experience for a portfolio of products.
  • Level 8 educational qualification in a relevant field.
