Type: Full-Time, Permanent

In partnership with our client, a leading engineering client based in County Cavan, Glantech Staffing are currently seeking applications for the position of Financial Analyst. This role will play a key part in analysing financial data, preparing insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with the Group Financial Controller and other senior stakeholders to provide high-quality analysis that drives performance and supports growth.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and key drivers.
  • Prepare and present management reports, KPIs, and dashboards for senior management.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate data and variance analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of business cases and investment appraisals.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with department heads to monitor sales, costs, margins, and profitability.
  • Provide data and analysis to support tenders, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure data integrity within financial systems and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or part-qualified with strong analytical skills.
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial services, or multi-site environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills; experience with BI tools is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems (Salesforce experience highly desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
