Overview

Rathnure Educare Preschool and Daycare are seeking energetic, dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners (Part Time- and Full-Time positions available) to join our expanding team.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure a safe, secure and healthy environment for the care, safety and welfare of children in the service.
  • Actively engage the children in developmentally appropriate learning activities.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents and team members.
  • Meet established policies and procedures, creating an environment of best practice.
Qualifications
  • Minimum FETAC Level 5/6 in a childcare qualification or equivalent. Level 7 is desirable but not essential.
  • Practical experience working in a childcare setting is favourable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An ability to work on their own initiative and work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Aistear & Siolta Frameworks.
  • Sincere and genuine love of children.
  • First Aid and Manual Handling an advantage.
