Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant

Location: Dublin & Cork (Hybrid)

Our client is a well-regarded mid-tier accountancy firm with offices in both Dublin and Cork. Known for their collaborative and flexible working culture, they provide a full suite of services including audit, accountancy, tax, and advisory to a diverse mix of clients across various sectors.

  • Minimum of 3 years' Irish practice experience in a tax-focused role
  • Comfortable working with clients across multiple sectors
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Role and Reporting Lines

Reporting to the Tax Partner, you will work as part of the Tax Team on a broad portfolio of clients across various industries.

  • Compliance Engagements – Manage and control completion of tax compliance assignments for Partner review
  • Tax Planning – Support delivery of client tax planning strategies
  • Client Meetings – Attend and contribute to client meetings on tax matters
  • Team Supervision – Delegate tasks, review work, and provide on-the-job training
  • Staffing Allocation – Assist with planning resources and meeting internal deadlines
  • Revenue Audits – Assist clients with Revenue audits, negotiations, and settlements
  • Client Portfolio – Work on a diverse range of Irish and international clients
  • Technical Development – Maintain strong knowledge of Irish tax legislation and identify opportunities
