We are presently recruiting a Head of Finance for our clients in County Kerry. Reporting to the executive team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the organization across various retail sites. This role involves strategic planning, financial management, and ensuring the financial health and compliance of the company.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals and growth plans.
  2. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to ensure effective financial planning and operational efficiency.
  3. Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain sufficient liquidity for operations and investments.
  4. Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements and reports for stakeholders.
  5. Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  6. Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect company assets and reputation.
  7. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous improvement.
  8. Serve as the primary contact for financial matters with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency across all locations.
  10. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support senior management's strategic decision-making.

The person:

  1. Proven experience (8+ years) in progressively responsible financial leadership roles.
  2. In-depth knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  3. Demonstrated success in leading and developing finance teams.
  4. Proficient in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.

This is a senior position based in Office in Tralee, County Kerry. Salary in the region of €75 – €100,000 is offered. For further information, please email me directly at adrien@redchair.ie
