Support Worker

Permanent Full-Time and Part-Time Contracts Available

Work Locations:

We are recruiting staff for a new Repsite House opening in Askeaton, Co. Limerick.

Shifts will include days, evenings, and nights.

Care Assistant Intellectual Disability 13-point scale €33,699 - €46,984 (pro-rata)

Panels will be formed as a result of the interview process. Candidates who are placed on a panel will be considered for subsequent permanent, fixed-term, and Specified Purpose vacancies for up to one year.

The Role of a Support Worker

Support Workers provide a key caring role for a group of People Supported by the Services. This role involves:

  • Responsibility for all aspects of personal care during the day, including meals, personal hygiene, and related physical well-being.
  • Supporting People Supported by the Services with development on Individual Plans and achievement of outcomes.
  • Supporting community participation and integration of People Supported by the Services.
Applicant Requirements
  • Have a minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in an appropriate or relevant field.
  • Hold a full manual driving license allowing you to drive manual transmission vehicles on Irish roads.
