Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Engineer to support our construction management team in overseeing the on-site execution and control of structural elements across various projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all on-site activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of setting-out engineers on-site.
- Inspect formwork, reinforcement, and dimensions before concrete pours to ensure accuracy and maintain materials reconciliation records.
- Review drawings and technical documents to confirm that all calculations and site layouts are precise and correctly implemented.
- Act as the main technical advisor on site, liaising effectively with subcontractors, consultants, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and enforce strict adherence to quality control standards, health and safety regulations, and project timelines.
- Assist in coordinating temporary works and ensuring all installations are aligned with engineering best practices and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a Site Engineering role with a recognized main contractor.
- Proficient in using setting-out instruments such as total stations, GPS, and laser levels.
- Sound understanding of temporary works coordination and structural methodologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and proactively resolve technical issues.
