Overview

Head of BI for Flutter UK & Ireland, leading the Commercial BI function. This is a high-profile, high-impact role with strong exposure to Flutter UKI's Leadership Team (C-suite) and other senior internal partners.

Responsibilities
  • Commercial insight generation: Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for the Flutter UKI Leadership Team, including high-impact deep-dives into topics such as areas of commercial under/overperformance.
  • Data & reporting excellence: Supervise the design and delivery of key commercial dashboards and automated reporting to monitor Flutter UKI's commercial performance and market share. Champion self-serve analytical tooling to support modernising insight.
  • Leadership & team management: Lead, mentor and develop a team of ~10 BI managers and analysts across the commercial "Sports", "Gaming" and "Market & Strategic projects" BI teams.
  • Commercial BI & analytics strategy: Set the standard for commercial analytics across Flutter UKI, collaborating with commercial brand teams and analysts as required.
  • Overall BI strategy: Support the UKI Director of Business Intelligence in shaping the BI department's strategy, strengthening analytical approaches, and evangelising BI across Flutter UKI. Align insights across Heads of BI for a joined-up approach.
  • Analytical innovation: Identify and test new data sources, analytical approaches and tooling to continuously increase the value and impact of insights.
What You'll Do
  • Confirmed experience in a senior BI, analytics, or insight leadership role — ideally in the gambling industry or a fast-paced mass-market consumer business.
  • Strong commercial competence with a track record of influencing strategic decisions at senior levels and communicating to senior audiences.
  • Ability to build relationships across the business quickly and inspire teams to perform at their best.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing analytical teams.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with competing business priorities.
  • Experience overseeing analytics and insight projects across a wide range of use-cases and problem-spaces; broad knowledge of analytical approaches to drive impact from commercial insights.
