Key Responsibilities
  • Providing speech and language therapy services to patients in an acute hospital setting, with a focus on communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Developing and implementing therapy plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Supporting individuals in achieving their communication goals and improving their quality of life.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with professional and legal standards.

Requirements
  • CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist is essential.
  • Must have the right to work in Ireland.
  • Proven experience as a Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist in an acute setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge and understanding of best practices in speech and language therapy.
