Job Description:

Our client, a growing specialist distributor in the technology sector, is seeking a Junior Sales Account Executive to join their internal sales team. This role focuses on supporting customer enquiries, processing orders, and contributing to business development efforts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure high satisfaction through professional and timely communication.
  • Respond to sales enquiries and provide detailed product and service information.
  • Assist in preparing proposals and quotations to support the sales team's growth efforts.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing client accounts.
  • Process incoming orders and quotations accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor open orders and proactively liaise with clients on updates and delivery times.
  • Provide administrative support and updates to internal stakeholders including directors and senior management.
  • Analyse stock levels and prepare related reports for internal review.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in a sales support, internal sales, or customer service role.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple client interactions professionally.
  • Experience in order processing and sales administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Well-organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ambitious and driven with a desire to grow within a commercial sales environment.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

Educational Requirements

  • A third-level qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related discipline is desirable.
  • Monday to Friday work schedule with standard hours.
