As Civil Resident Engineer - Wastewater, you will provide supervision and management on a programme of work to deliver a wastewater treatment plant upgrade project. Due to ongoing contract awards, this global engineering consultancy firm requires a Civil Resident Engineer to work on wastewater projects based in Mayo. You should demonstrate previous experience in either the design or construction of wastewater upgrades and treatment works.

As Civil Resident Engineer - Wastewater, your responsibilities will include site supervision of wastewater upgrade projects. To be considered for this role, you should have the following experience:

  1. At least 7 years' postgraduate experience in on-site supervision, contract administration, and project management of civil engineering works, including wastewater projects.
  2. A degree in a related discipline such as Civil Engineering.
  3. The ability to write clear and concise reports and maintain work records.
  4. Strong knowledge and experience of health and safety procedures and regulations.
  5. Satisfactory knowledge of construction contracts; experience with FIDIC and Public Works forms of contract would be advantageous but not essential.
  6. A current and valid SafePass card is essential; Confined Spaces training is desirable.

You should also possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively within a team. Given the nature of the role, some travel may be involved, so flexibility is required.
