The Hodson Bay Hotel is excited to welcome applications for an Accommodation Assistant to join our team.

We are interested in candidates who are fully flexible Monday-Sunday.

As Accommodation Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our guests by maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness throughout our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all standards of performance and delivery within the accommodation department.
  2. To participate in Departmental training.
  3. To work as part of the Accommodation Team.
  4. Cleaning of guest bedrooms and bathrooms to an excellent standard.
  5. Cleaning of public areas to an excellent standard.
  6. Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks.
  7. Restock and maintain trolley on a daily basis.
  8. Manage all guest requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  9. Making sure that all checklists are completed to an excellent standard.

The ideal candidate for this position:

  1. Previous hotel cleaning/housekeeping experience is preferred.
  2. Enjoy working as part of a team.
  3. Always maintain a professional image through appearance.
  4. Must be energetic, customer-focused, and possess excellent communication skills.
  5. Should also have the ability to work well under pressure.
