Job Description:

Cpl Healthcare is actively seeking qualified Social Care Assistants for residential services based in Kilkenny in the Jerpoint and Kyle locations.

We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to support adults with intellectual disabilities in a community-based setting, assisting with independent living skills and community integration.

Requirements:

  • FETAC level 5 in Healthcare or similar
  • At least 1 year's experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities
  • Knowledge of HIQA regulations and experience adhering to National Standard policies
  • Understanding of person-centred care and planning
  • Awareness of current policies and developments in social care for disability services
  • Ability to follow care plans to meet individuals' ongoing needs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficiency in IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
  • A full driver's license and access to own car are essential
