Mission and goalsOur mission is to create technology solutions for people to make the most of the digital world — safely, privately, and confidently. The Senior Principal Product Manager – Mobile role is to build innovative mobile security products and, on a dual basis, manage the business of mobile security products as well as build a mobile platform that enables building independent applications for Gen brands (Norton, Avast, AVG, Avira, LifeLock, CCleaner, etc.).
We are seeking someone with end-to-end ownership of a consumer mobile app, including monetization strategy (freemium, subscriptions, in-app purchases) and accountability for growth metrics such as user acquisition, conversion, retention, and engagement. Experience limited to feature delivery or partial ownership won't be a match.
Sr. Principal Product Manager – Freemium Products: you will be coming from a global team working across different time zones in a heavily metric-driven organization.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager to lead our mobile security products across freemium brands, drive growth and retention while maintaining high customer satisfaction. You will define product strategy, manage the roadmap, prioritize requirements, and deliver outcomes with strong customer satisfaction. You will work in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders across locations and time zones and will need to gain alignment for prioritization and risk mitigation.
The candidate must be a self-starter with a strong understanding of the business landscape and mobile ecosystem. The candidate must be an excellent communicator capable of building relationships at all levels and presenting to senior leaders. The ideal candidate should be skilled in research, ideation, and thinking outside the box.
Success will be measured by the delivery of roadmap items aligned to strategy and business goals, ROI, and actual performance results.
Responsibilities- Product Strategy: Conduct thorough research of the market, competition, customer needs, and internal strengths and weaknesses to build the winning product strategy.
- Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain the roadmap for mobile security products across freemium brands, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Data Analysis: Define, monitor, and assess KPIs to provide actionable insights and projections for the product to satisfy business goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with other product managers, Sales and Go-to-Market teams, design, engineering, support, PMO, and other groups to ensure alignment, prioritization, and risk mitigation.
- Storytelling & Requirements Definition: Clearly articulate the story behind projects and define a set of requirements; justify prioritization decisions and communicate them effectively in writing and verbally.
- Business Case Development: Create compelling business cases by evaluating factors and providing analysis of potential impacts on the product and business.
- Proven track record of product and major feature launches
- Passion for building digital products and learning new skills
- Recent product management experience in mobile-first SaaS or consumer security products
- Qualitative and quantitative decision making
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast-paced environments
- Ability to work with abstract concepts and prototypes, turning ideas into tangible results
- Experience with customer and market research
- Ability to work independently and proactively, lead and motivate cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creativity and ideation skills; ability to think outside the box to identify new technologies and opportunities to bridge gaps and deliver business value
- Experience in preparing and presenting content to various audiences and levels of leadership
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Programming Knowledge: Basic understanding of programming languages or development environments (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Tools Knowledge: Miro, Productboard, Figma, Jira, Confluence, PowerBI, Qlikview, marketing tools such as Firebase, Singular, Google Analytics, etc.
