ESW is on a solid growth trajectory, and central to this growth is the development of our people. We're hiring a VP of Leadership, Talent & Organisational Development to shape our leadership strategy and build a centre of excellence for learning. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this is a high-impact role with direct influence on our leadership and talent agenda. This is a hybrid role, 2-3 office days per week.
Responsibilities
- Identify the future leadership capabilities required at ESW and design the overall strategy aligned to ensuring transformational and future-fit leaders.
- Drive the strategic design and delivery of leadership development and behavioural programmes for Executives, Potential Talent, People Leaders, and the broader employee group.
- Design and deliver the Leadership Development strategy and associated plan for implementation.
- Build on strategies and programmes to upskill People Leaders with capabilities, skills, and knowledge to enhance current and future performance, including developing well-rounded, purpose-driven and future-fit leaders at all levels.
- Build relationships and partner with best-in-class external vendors for the design, delivery, and branding of leadership programmes.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiations, and budgets for programmes and licenses.
- Design, build and execute strategy and processes for the assessment and development of leadership and people development programmes across ESW.
- Understand key business goals and determine the talent development needs across ESW to support these business goals.
- Design, develop and facilitate strategic workshops to embed the key strategic priorities for the year ahead and align leadership with these priorities.
- Serve as the key resource, expert and thought leader regarding talent development, people development, performance management, inclusion & belonging and culture.
- Develop and implement talent management strategy and solutions, such as talent review, succession planning, executive assessment, coaching and individual development planning, ensuring a strong talent and leadership pipeline.
- Ensure the business is set up for future success through talent assessment, review, and succession planning as part of an annual talent review process.
- Continuously improve and design processes and systems that distinguish and develop high-performing individuals, supporting HRBPs as they engage in talent conversations and the talent review process.
- Lead the approach to performance management for goal alignment, feedback, and development planning.
- Develop, design, and implement ESW's competency framework embedding across all people practices from assessing talent at recruitment to development planning and performance discussions.
- Design and implement comprehensive strategies, programmes, and action plans to improve performance; develop change management initiatives to build a high-performance culture.
- Support the alignment of culture and values with business goals to deliver the strategic priorities.
- Lead, listen and respond strategically to ensure culture is alive and thriving in all company parts.
- Foster an organisational culture that is consistent with ESW values by designing, implementing, and assessing programmes that embed our culture throughout the employee lifecycle.
Requirements
- 15+ years' experience in Organisation Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Learning and Change Management.
- 10+ years' experience managing and leading people.
- Passionate about creating an inclusive and diverse environment and experience aligning diversity, inclusion and belonging initiatives to overall business strategy, priorities, needs and plans.
- Strong leadership, proactivity, innovation, and organization skills.
- Advanced communication skills; excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills; ability to build and influence internal and external partners and key stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to consult with all levels of management.
- Strong problem-solving and design-thinking skills.
- Knowledge of current talent solutions, techniques, and tools.
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in Organisation Development, Organisational Behaviours, Industrial/Organisational Psychology, or related HR field.
- Qualified in a range of psychometrics (Level A & Level B, EQi and tools such as Insights Discovery, Korn Ferry, Hogan, etc.).
- Executive coaching qualification is desirable but optional.
