Overview

Healthcare Assistant - Ardee (No Sponsorship) – full-time role at Virtue Integrated Elder Care Group, Moorehall Lodge Ardee, Hale Street, Ardee, Co. Louth. Responsibilities
  • Assist in delivering a high standard of holistic care to residents, promoting equality and dignity.
  • Carry out assigned tasks involving direct care and activities of daily living (e.g., washing, toileting, dressing, dining, social activities, conversation, communication support).
  • Respect residents' privacy and dignity and promote their independence.
  • Provide particular attention to residents with limited mobility.
  • Understand and observe care plans; alert nurses to changes in residents' physical or mental state.
  • Report incidents or potential incidents that may compromise health and safety.
  • Maintain a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and their relatives/representatives.
  • Contribute to and enhance the quality of resident activities and events.
Essential Criteria
  • Minimum partial QQI Level 5 Award – Healthcare or equivalent
  • Elder care experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent personal care abilities

Or: Nursing Degree / Allied Health Degree / Relevant Healthcare Degree
