Job Description:

Overview: We are looking for an experienced professional to join our Sustainability Consultancy Team. The successful person will work on innovative, challenging projects with industry experts as part of PM Group's multi-discipline team.

Our vision is to be a highly valued and creative partner, building a more sustainable world with our clients. We are expanding our Environment & Sustainability team and seek an experienced Senior Sustainability Consultant to join us.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage sustainability projects from concept to handover.
  • Undertake LEED, BREEAM, WELL, and/or BCA Greenmark assessments for commercial and industrial schemes.
  • Advise on NZEB, Low/Net Zero Carbon/Energy Building strategies.
  • Conduct climate risk assessments, building life-cycle assessments, and sustainability master planning.
  • Understand and apply current and upcoming sustainability legislation (building and planning regulations).
  • Innovate and assess design solutions early in the design process focusing on decarbonization, low energy, renewable techniques, and sustainable fuels.
  • Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment methodologies and low-carbon building materials.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships internally and externally.
  • Prepare technical reports.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Level 8 NQF) in Architecture, Engineering, Environmental, Sustainability, or related fields.
  • Qualifications such as LEED AP BD+C / ID+C and/or BREEAM AP.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a sustainability/energy consultant or related role.
  • Excellent knowledge of sustainable design practices; international experience is a plus.
  • Proven record of innovative low-energy design approaches and management excellence.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to work independently.
