Motor Mechanic – Greater Dublin Area

Are you a skilled Motor Mechanic looking for an exciting new challenge? Join a leading roadside assistance provider committed to delivering outstanding customer support to drivers across the Greater Dublin Area. In this hands-on, field-based role, you'll put your mechanical expertise to work, helping motorists with on-the-spot breakdown repairs, vehicle recoveries, and home assistance, ensuring they're back on the road quickly and safely.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Fully qualified Motor Mechanic with a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in vehicle mechanical and electrical repair.
  • Valid B driving licence (BE or BC licences are a bonus).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to work 40-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proactive, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality results under deadlines.

Duties:

  • Perform safe and efficient roadside diagnostics and repairs for private and commercial vehicles.
  • Assess repair options and coordinate garage or recovery assistance as needed.
  • Safely recover vehicles when on-site repairs are not possible.
  • Uphold professionalism, safety, and exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Utilize communication systems effectively to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in excellent condition.
