Comer Group Ireland is delivering a landmark construction project in South Dublin, and we want you to be part of it. We're seeking a Senior Engineer with proven experience in residential construction and brickwork facades to play a key role within our on-site delivery team.

We're looking for a proactive professional who can manage their workload effectively, oversee facade works with precision, and uphold the highest standards of dimensional accuracy.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years' experience with an Irish contractor as an Engineer or Facade Manager
  • Strong track record with large-scale brickwork facade projects
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and experienced in setting out
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal English (minimum C1 level)

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the site engineering team to deliver project milestones on time and within budget
  • Oversee all engineering and setting-out activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards
  • Coordinate works across multiple trades, including structural, facade, and fit-out packages
  • Monitor as-built surveys and ensure construction aligns with design intent and tolerances
  • Work closely with the project manager to plan, sequence, and resource site activities efficiently
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to support the construction programme
  • Review technical drawings and provide feedback, resolving design or construction issues as they arise
  • Maintain accurate site records, reports, and quality assurance documentation
  • Enforce site safety protocols and promote a culture of safe working
  • Attend coordination meetings and represent the engineering function in decision-making
